Common Prerequisites

To use the HWP OCR SDK, you need to configure the following common environment regardless of the operating system. Complete the preliminary preparation before installation or use.

CUDA 11.6+ Supported GPU Device​

  • If using GPU, a GPU device that supports CUDA 11.6 or higher is required.
  • For detailed information about GPU support, refer to the GPU Support section.

Libtorch Library​

  • The libtorch library is essential for using the OCR SDK, so you must install this library in advance.
  • Select and install the libtorch package that matches your platform and CUDA version.

Encoding Configuration​

  • You must select an appropriate option for system and data compatibility (e.g., UTF-8).
  • Character recognition errors may occur if encoding is not set correctly.
